8 Hour Training For Anyone Advocating in IEP/504 meetings for CHILDREN WHO ARE DEAF OR HARD OF HEARING.

This training is free for members of Michigan  Hands & Voices. Non-members can pay the membership fee to attend ($25). Membership and Scholarship information available.Â
We highly recommend you purchase the Educational Advocacy Guidebook. This book goes along with the presentations. Order now so you can get it before training starts. (We don't get any revenue from the sales. It's just a great resource!)
Janel Frost is Executive Director and ASTra Coordinator for Michigan Hands & Voices. She's mom to four children. Her third is "Deafplus," meaning deaf plus other conditions. Janel has 17 years of experience with Hands & Voices, and 27 years in Human Services/Child Development. Janel has worked as an advocate for 12 years and has worked as the Michigan Hands & Voices ASTra Coordinator for the past 7 years.Â
