About the event
Join us for our first Keep Calm & Ask Me event of 2026! We are excited to welcome guest presenters Christina Roy (Teacher Consultant, Oakland Schools) and Teddy Dorsette (DHH Guide, entrepreneur, and advocate). Together, they will explore incidental learning and the importance of creating a language-rich environment for children who are Deaf, DeafBlind, or hard of hearing.
Attendees will learn practical strategies to use at home and leave feeling empowered to support their child’s language development. This event is open to all caregivers and is free to Michigan Hands & Voices members.
